Clarifying the Bible part 1

I think if you read all of my blogs, I clarify the Bible and Christianity period. So In this blog, I'm not going to bring up the same stuff, but I want to talk about something I only touched on a little bit. I want to talk about the discoveries that have been discovered these past years and why I believe this is evidence for the god of the Bible.

The discovery of Noah's Ark?:

There has been more than 1 purposed finds and discoveries made on this topic. Many people believe the Ark is in different places. But one of the best discoveries was found on a Turkish mountain known as Mt. Ararat. On this mountain, a ship like object was found. Archeologists really couldn't uncover the whole thing because it is too far into the mountain. But they have found all sorts of stuff. Although it is still hard to tell if it is Noah's Ark or not, I do still think this discovery counts as a presentable theory. I mean after all, it is on the mountains of Ararat just like the Bible says it rested. And just something to think about, why would a ship be on a mountain? If there was a flood, wouldn't something like a ship that was on top of the water wind up landing on a mountain.

Sodom and Gomorrah:

This discovery was an accident. It appeared just to be rocks or hills, but when one man took a closer look, he found out that these were old cities. The reason why these builds blended in with rocks was because the cities were covered in ash and dust. When archeologists uncovered these cities, they found 90% sulfur balls in the cities. They found them stuck in walls, and structures, as if these sulfur balls were hot enough to stick into the walls. The sulfur balls had to be going pretty fast too for this to happen. Just by observing the photos, it looks like to me these sulfur balls rained on these cities, just like the Bible says.

Red Sea crossing:

I think this is one of the best evidences to clarify the truth of the Bible. Under the sea, people have found chariot wheels, human bones and horse bones. Even though I do believe in the Bible, I still think it is unproven or not. Many skeptics have tried to expose this, but really couldn't get far because it is just simply unproven. I have myself have had any good explanation on how these objects would of got there. Many people have said that the chariot wheels and such were just placed there or could of been a dump sight. But don't you find it kind of funny that it is in the Red Sea? Or in a Sea period?

Mt. Sinai:

This is another amazing discovery that I think is the best evidence for the Bible being true. Even if I am totally wrong I still think the stories of the Bible can be trusted. Nobody really knew were the mountain was until now. According to the Bible, this is the mountain where Moses received the 10 commandments. An altar was found at the bottom of the mountain with pictures of calf's and Jewish menorah's drawn on it. It is quite obvious that this altar was a Jewish altar because of the menorah drawings on it. Could this of been the altar in which the Israelites build that golden calf on and worshiped it? Not only was it under a scorched mountain top, but it had pictures of the calf's on it too. Speaking of scorched mountain top, it was found. This is how we can be sure this mountain is the real Mt. Sinai because the Bible says:

"And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly." - Exodus 19:18

So, by reading this verse, you will know that God descended on the mountain like fire. Common sense will tell you that fire scorches things. So how could this mountain be scorched black? My theory is what the Bible says, which is God. This mountain was proven that it is not volcanic, they split a rock open on the mountain and it was just pure limestone in the middle. None of the mountains around it was scorched, just that one. I can not think of any other way this mountain could of gotten that way.

Split rock:

There was a giant split rock found with erosion marks in it. Many believe this is the rock Moses hit with his staff to make water come out. Below this rock are many smooth rocks and dried up river beds. This shows us that water had gushed out, smoothed the rocks below and left behind dried up rivers. By finding all of these discoveries within next to each other, we might be able to retrace Exodus. Further investigation is needed.

Prophecy:

One of the things I bring up in my blogs so much is prophecy. I think that if prophecy is fulfilled and it isn't vague then we can reason that maybe the Bible is inspired by the true living god. I am just going to give a link the prophecies that have been fulfilled, but what I use as best evidence for prophecy is the nation of Israel. In the Bible, there are so many prophecies, old and new testament talks about the future of Israel. Some of these prophecies say that Israel will become a nation again, which happened in 1947. Many of the prophecies say that Israel would be surrounded by its enemies and would constantly be attacked by them. It is quite obvious today that this is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In fact within hours when Israel became a nation again, Palestine invaded Israel. But it doesn't stop there. There were prophecies made on the Jewish people returning to there homeland when it becomes a nation again, you see this happening today. The Jewish people are finally returning to there homeland. But did you know that there was prophecy before this foretelling that the Jewish people would be spread across the Earth! There is something different about the Bible.
