Explaining the trinity

Many people question the concept of the trinity, and I see why, it is a very confusing concept. Thats why many people dont believe in it. I am typing this blog for everyone. Muslims and non-trinitarians. . There are so many Biblical passages showing God is triune in His nature, and I will show you them.

The big question: How can God be three yet one. Or how can he be one, yet three?

Response: Well, God chooses to reveal himself in 3 different persons. A Father, a Son and a Holy Spirit. Why you ask? Its for the better. I mean thing about it. Not only was the Son (Jesus) on Earth dying for our sins, but there was a Father in Heaven to answer our prayers and provide for us, and a Holy Spirit over the Earth to guide people. A god only being tri-personal could do this. Each of these persons are distinct from each other. Yet they are one, spiritually. Now to answer the question, how can three be one. Well, how can an egg have an egg shell, egg white and egg yolk yet still be considered one egg? How can there be a past, present and future and yet still be one time line? How can there be three dimensions in space, which is one? How about H20? It can take on a solid, liquid or gas form. If you had all of these in a room, we can all agree that although they are different and in different forms, that H20 is in the room.

St. Patrick used a three leaved clover to show how the Trinity is.

Here are some Biblical verses testifying the trinity. The Father, the Son and the Holy spirit was the god of the Old and new Testament.

"Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." - Genesis 1:2

So, in this verse, the second verse in the whole Bible, it reveals God and the spirit of God. He has already show us something about his nature, He is a personal God and a spirit.

"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." - Genesis 1:26

Who is God speaking to here? Is it angels, or is the Father talking to the Son and the Holy Spirit? I've often heard that this is a majestic plural, however, people still don't deny it is plural!

"Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one anothers speech." - Genesis 11:7

Same case.

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." - 1 John 5:7

Conclusion: The God of the Bible is triune in nature and if anyone disagrees with that, they disagree with the Bible, period.

God bless.
