Exposing the New Age belief system

In this blog, I will be showing you why New Age is false and can actually be dangerous. When it comes to topics like this one, I don't mean to pic on a person's belief system, after all I study religion and different belief systems. But New Age has to be one of the most ridicules belief systems and deceives people by the millions. So where to begin?

Lets start off by seeing by New Age is false.

New Age believers claim there are many ways to "god". How can this be so? This is why there are different religions, they do not agree all with one another. So why are people trying to combine it? Those who claim to be Christians, yet believe in the mystic approach and are into New Age, I encourage you to read John 14:6

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6

Jesus clearly said that no one comes to the Father, meaning Heaven and all that is holy but through him. You can not be a Buddhist, a Muslim, or any religion and receive the salvation of Christ if you do not acknowledge him. This doctrine is taught by devils. Even if this were true, how do you explain Atheism? Someone who doesn't believe at all, do you think they will have a good afterlife?

There have been many false prophets who have tried to mix New Age thought and teachings from the occult with Christianity. Sadly, people are buying into this. Some of these false prophets that Jesus warned about would people someone like Oprah Winfrey. She uses her popularity to spread the New Age movement around to all of her fans. Doesn't she seem like the perfect tool for Satan to spread around a false belief? And this is why it is so.

Many are convinced that this New Age movement plays a big roll of the end times. The goal here is to unite all religions into one. This is why I believe New Age can be dangerous. Some say that this is all linked together with the New World Order.

Psychics:

The Bible warns us about psychics. I'm deeply convinced that most are just con artists, but even if some really do see visions of some sort, they are not from God but from devils. Over the years many "psychics" have been exposed. They claim only to be a vessels from the natural world to the supernatural. I have a problem with psychics because they can give false information that can be devastating. Lets take Shawn Hornbeck for an example. Self proclaimed psychic, Sylvia Browne told his parents that he was dead and were to find his body. It turns out that Shawn was indeed found alive. Do you see the danger in that? The truth is we can't trust anyone who calls themselves psychics. Sadly, she and many others try to spread the truth of Jesus Christ but mix it with New Age beliefs. She appears on the Montel Williams show and much like Oprah, she uses her popularity to spread this thought around.


Ouija board, tarot cards and crystal balls:

There is not too much to say about this other than it shouldn't be trusted either. These things can get you into some serious trouble. I wouldn't base my choices and life style off of readings. From what I have seen, people who take part in this are not always satisfied. And as far as the Ouija board, I'm convinced it is demonic. Every case I have researched and looked into about Ouija board experiences are not good ones. People do not and can not contact the dead. They are demons in disguise. They spread lies and deceive you.


New Age believers like to ask this question below. I will attempt to answer it.

Question: What about those who have never heard of Jesus or the gospel, how do they get saved?

Response: So would all faiths being right would be the answer? No, how can you worship another God yet this God grants you salvation. The Bible makes it clear that God has revealed himself in nature. God also has placed his law in the hearts of men. Meaning deep down, all people know right from wrong. Meaning that you can still be guilty of breaking his laws. You may not be judged for rejecting Jesus, but you still can be for disobeying his laws. but either way, Jesus made many promises that we would not return until his gospel is spread across the whole Earth. The population of those who have never heard of the Bible is very low.


This has only been on my mind, I just wanted to type a short blog about this topic. It is so far too wrong to discuss everything in one blog.
