Responding to an Atheistic argument

I addressed the atheistic claim "There is no difference believing in Santa Claus and in God." in one of my previous blogs. In this blog, I will address another statement made by atheists that goes like this:

"How do you know that the Flying Spaghetti monster or pink unicorns don't exist? Or Zeus, or Thor?"

Response: Of course the first thing we can say is that we cannot disprove they exist. But asking to disprove them is silly. Can you give a rational and logical argument to argue for the existence of pink unicorns, or the Fly Spaghetti monster? Why is there arguments for the existence of God? Obviously it is more logical to believe in God rather than pink unicorns. The belief in God has historical roots and certainly hold more weight than something someone can just make up. Anyone can make up anything, but it has to be found on truth. Something that the fly spaghetti monster or pink unicorns aren't founded on. They were made up. And if the skeptic then says "your god was made up", he or she is only assuming, which is were they already begin to make mistakes. There are arguments for the existence of God and plenty of evidence for His existence. This is not the case for pink unicorns or a Flying Spaghetti monster? And if God was a flying Spaghetti monster, so what! We can still call Him God, right? If a flying Spaghetti monster created the universe, he would have the characteristics of God.

How do we know that the other gods and religions are false? Again, there is no way of proving 100% they are false.....right now. The chance of the fulfilled prophecies in the Bible is mathematical miracle! Is there historical evidence that Thor was a real deity or even a man? All of this is not a problem for Christianity.

Christians can give rational arguments for the existence of God. And actually, science will never ever prove there is no god. But, if God does exist (which I believe He does) science may find God in the future! If you ask me, God can be observed through a telescope or a microscope now. If this is true, then truth will be know, you cannot debunk truth. And so far, nobody has debunked God or Christianity.

God bless.
