Why I do not accept Islam as the true religion from the god of Abraham

In this blog, I will be showing why I believe, Muhammad was a false prophet, the Qur'an is not the word of God and is not a new revelation.

The Qur'an (Koran), is it the word of God?:

Well, if the Islamic god is the god of the Bible and the god of Abraham, then why would there need to be a new revelation? Muslims claim that they worship the same god as Christians do. But why would we need the Qur'an? Muslims also claim that people have corrupted the Bible and that this word needed a new revelation. The god of the Bible said he would preserve his word. To say the Bible went corrupt doesn't fit the historical time line of the Bible. The Bible says in the last sentence in the book of Revelation. That if anyone adds or takes away from this book, then he would be punished. Nothing may of not been added to the Bible, but the Bible makes it clear that after this book (The book of revelation) that there would be no need for a new revelation. So if you think about it, the was added on. This brings me to my next point. I believe, that the Qur'an is just ripped right from the Bible. I mean, why do you think the Qur'an speaks about Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and all of the other Old Testament prophets? There is a lot of truth in the Qur'an, because it is ripped from the Bible. If the Qur'an is the word of God, then wouldn't he just give us the Qur'an in the first place. The Qur'an tells a different story about Jesus, and tells a new story of a new prophet. The Qur'an also teaches different ways to live and different views on the end times.

Do Christians and Muslims worship the same god?:

I do not believe Christians and Muslims worship the same god. The origin of the Islamic god does indeed come from the Bible, but this proves nothing. Just because you believe in the same prophets and the same everything does not mean you worship the same god. Mormons claim to believe in the same prophets that Christians do, but is Mormonism orthodox Christianity? Of course not. The book of Mormon comes from the Bible just like the Qur'an comes from the Bible. Could it be that the Bible has been right all along and we don't need the book of Mormon or the Qur'an? I think so. There are different names of Allah in the Qur'an. 99 to be exact. You can almost see a difference in the Islamic god and the Christian god. My god claims to be three in one, when the Islamic god claims to be one and denies Jesus as lord and savior. I explain the trinity and give evidence that Jesus was God in the flesh in one of my previous blogs.

Was Muhammad a false prophet?:

All of the prophets the god of the Bible used where Israelites when Muhammad was an Ismaelite. Why is this? Muhammad claimed to be confronted by an angel in a cave. This angel said he was Gabriel. Let me post a Biblical verse.

"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:14

Just like the case of Mormonism, an angel claimed to be from God and had a message. This wasn't really an angel, it was Satan. Satan is the master of deceiving and the father of all lies. Of course he would say he is Gabriel. The Bible says that if any man or angel brings forth a new message that goes against the Bible, then he is a liar. So here you got an angel, claiming to be Gabriel, bringing a new revelation to a non Jew. This goes good with on why the Bible says to test all spirits and that no new revelations should be added on the Bible. This angel is obviously not an angel from God. The things that Muhammad teached and said does not sound like the god of the Bible. Would you trust one mans word (The Qur'an) or would you trust many peoples word (The Bible)?

Are Christians wrong about Jesus?:

This is another claim that can easily be discredited. There are non-Christian scholars and historians who believe Jesus existed and that he died by be crucifixion. The Qur'an denies that, it is Antichrist. They don't debate on weather Jesus died or not. They debate on his resurrection. Muslims debate on if he was crucified even though there is evidence he did! And about the resurrection. Would Jesus' disciples die for a lie? Would any of these people die for a lie? Here comes the Qur'an denying all of that. There has to be something fishy going on. If the Qur'an is the word of God, then why would it not contain historical truth? If you read the New Testament, you will know that Jesus makes all sorts of claims of his divinity. Claims like "I am the Father are one". The New Testament is filled with these claims. But what I like to do if use to Old Testament, the Torah. Something that Muslims claim to be divinely inspired and sacred. What most Muslims do not know is that the Torah testifies the existence of the trinity and the messianic prophecies about Jesus being the son of God and dying for our sins is found all over the Old Testament. Why believe in something that is totally contradicting the Bible? If Muslims believe in the Torah, then why don't they believe in the New Testament? This is what was suppose to happen. The Torah was for the Jews for that time and then Jesus came to fulfill all of that. Yet the Qur'an denies all of this. The New Testament reliability can be trusted. The Gospels are also filled with interesting stories about Jesus' resurrection and empty tomb. The Bible says women found an empty tomb and they reported it. The thing is, people believed it. Back then, what women said was discredited, yet some how the story got more and more popular and here we are today with everyone knowing about the resurrection. How can Christians be wrong about Jesus, when we were first and there were eyewitness accounts of all this?

Terror in the Qur'an!:

The Qur'an is filled with ridiculous claims and down right sick stuff. In fact, at the beginning of Surah, it already starts talking about how Allah will place a disease in the unbelievers heart. We all know there are extremists though, there are Christian extremists too. However, the Qur'an says that you should kill the infidels (Christians and Jews) where ever you find them. Satan has been trying to get rid of his people throughout history. But Jesus Christ taught to love your enemy and to pray for them.

Salvation in Islam vs Salvation in Christianity:

In Islam, you must do good deeds in order to get into paradise. While in Christianity, you are saved by grace. Any religion that teaches good deeds are what gets you to god is false. Islam claims that Islam is the one true RELIGION and that it is the RELIGION that has been with god forever. God does not want religion, he wants a personal relationship with you.

72 virgins in Paradise?!

It's true, the Qur'an teaches that if you die as a soldier of Allah, or do really good deeds, you will be granted 72 virgins in paradise. Not only that but there wil be rivers of wine in paradise. So basically in Islamic depiction of heaven is getting drunk and having endless sex with virgins.

Answering Muslims:

Question: How can God be on earth and at the same time be in the Heaven?

Response: Are you suggesting God is limited and he can't be at 2 places at once? That is the reason why the trinity is so amazing, because like I said. The son was dying for us while the father was in heaven.

Claim: God Prayed to God to get what he wanted but there is only one God

Response: God didn't pray to God. The son prayed to the Father.

Claim: God cannot be tempted; the idea is absurd. Yet Jesus was

Response: The whole reason why God became a man in the first place was to have human nature. He was tempted, yes. This does not prove that Jesus is not God. According to the Bible, he did not fall into the temptation, meaning he did not sin. Only God can be sinless.

Claim: God would not need to pray.

Response: The son prayed to the Father.

Claim: A single unified God cannot forsake itself. Yet Jesus is forsaken

I am going to argue that he is quoting from Psalm 22. There is prophecy involved in this too. The reason why Jesus did that is to show that he is the messiah.

Claim: God is the source not the receiver of authority. Jesus said he
received authority which also shows he is not eternal

Response: Why not? God became a man, his father gave him authority. I don't see how this proves he is not eternal or has always been. There are Old Testament verses testifying the trinity.

Claim: Jesus said son don't know about Hour only father knows which prove he is not all knowing

Response: The reason why his father knew is because his father was in heaven. Jesus was a man/god, meaning he had human features. Jesus was on Earth, meaning he had to obey the laws of time, while his father didn't have to.

Claim: Jesus said only God was good

Jesus wasn't denying that he wasn't good. He also wasn't denying he was God. He was just saying "Do you realize that you are calling me good? Do you realize what you are saying?"

Claim: According to bible No one has ever seen God, but many saw Jesus

Response: This was taken out of context. If I'm not mistaken, the verse that says "we have seen the face of God, we surely will die" was in the Old testament. But once again, Jesus was a man/god. He had a human nature in him. Jesus Christ existed in pre- carnate form before he died for our sins. There are at least 3 times (off the top of my head) God took a form to talk to someone in the Old Testament.

Claim: Jesus said the Father was greater than him; contrary to the
trinity doctrine which clearly teaches that all members of the God-
Head are coeternal and coequal.

Response: Jesus said the Father was greater than He not because Jesus is not God, but because Jesus was also a man and as a man he was in a lower position. This does not mean they are not equal.

Claim: Jesus admits he has a God

Response: Of course, he was a Jew, he preached from the Torah. he also said in that verse he is returning to his Father.

Claim: Paul states Jesus is between God and humans, therefore Jesus is
not God"

Response: This does not prove that Jesus is not God. As I said above, Jesus had a human nature. Jesus is the way to the Father.

Claim: Paul again states that Jesus is the MEDIATOR between God and
humans"

Response: Of course he was. Ever since Adam sinned, man has been separated from God. So, Jesus is the way to be in touch with God. Nobody comes to the Father but by him.

Claim: Bible says Jesus increase in knowledge which prove before he was not all wise.

Response: He had a human nature to him. He was bounded by time at the time, so of course he could not tell when the end was. His father in Heaven did.

"Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God is one LORD"

I would have to agree. Even though God has shown himself in 3 different forms, he still is one. Plus I just want to add. The Jews don't believe in the trinity, so of course they would say something like that. But what they don't realize is that the Old Testament testifies the existence of the trinity.

"God is one"

Indeed.

"Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior"

Indeed again. The Father, the son and the Holy Spirit was the God of the Old Testament. There is no savior besides Jesus and this verse is saying that.

"I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God"

Indeed. This verse is similar the what the Qur'an says too.

"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me"

Agreed again.

Note: I do not wish to offend Muslims. I have many Muslim friends and I respect Islam greatly. I just believe it is not from God and I want to save people.

God bless.
